We’ve proudly stocked a selection of Clamcleat products for many years, but following the unfortunate closure of one of their distributors, we were offered the opportunity to take on the full range. It’s a natural next step in our long-standing relationship with Clamcleat and we’re pleased to be strengthening our partnership with another great British brand.
Becoming a full distributor means we can now offer our customers the entire Clamcleat range — including products supplied on branded retail display cards. Whether you’re a boat builder, chandlery or sailor, you’ll benefit from better availability, quicker delivery times and a more complete offering through Allen.
Clamcleats have a rich history, just like us. Their story began in 1963 with a simple idea: there must be a better way to grip a rope than tying a knot. That idea led to the creation of the original Clamcleat design — a pair of angled ridges that hold rope securely, with no moving parts. Since then, their range has grown to over 125 cleats, available in both plastic and aluminium, and used across sailing, windsurfing, and various industrial applications.
