At Allen we use the Royal Mail Tracked 24 service for all UK web orders. However, in some situations, we may choose to send your package with one of our other courier services due to order value or size. If this happens you will be made aware of the change of courier by one of our sales team.
Orders must be received before 2 PM to be included in the next working day delivery. A working day is classified as Monday – Friday. Bank Holidays are not considered to be a working days. Only items in stock can be delivered the next working day.
We offer free UK next working-day delivery on orders over £100. UK web orders that include a product that is back-ordered will not be part-despatched.

Customs & Import Tax
Please be advised that for countries outside of the UK, there may be taxes, fees or other charges that you will be expected to pay. We recommend that you check with your local customs office before placing an order as these charges can vary from country to country. We do not have any control over these charges and do not hold current duty rates on file.
If these local import and custom charges are refused or not paid by you, then the item could be returned to Allen or destroyed. If your order is not returned to us in these circumstances, we may not be able to refund you for your order. We would not be able to refund any original postage costs paid and can only refund for the returned products minus any costs incurred in returning them to Allen.
Once an order has been despatched from our warehouse in the UK or USA, all liability of the package is passed to the delivery company. If an order has not arrived within 10 working days of the despatch date, please contact us and we will contact the delivery company to find out if there are any delays or problems with the package.
Allen Brothers have no obligation to refund delivery fee’s for orders which have not arrived within the stated delivery time frame.

Due to shipping restrictions and costs, we cannot ship products that are over 2.4 meters in length (when packed) without using a special shipping service. If you would like to order products that fit this category, please contact our sales team to discuss options. Sales@allenbrothers.co.uk
We feel strongly about doing our bit for the planet and keeping the ocean clean. Which is why all packages are sent in an FSC approved cardboard box. When suitable we may also reuse boxes. All void fill is 100% recycled and we use gum tape to seal the boxes.
If an item is out of stock, it can still be back ordered. Our usual lead time for back orders is between 2 and 3 weeks from order date. Please contact the sales team if you would like to get an exact due date for the next batch of stock for a specific item. Web orders that include a product which is back ordered will not be part despatched.
