CL257 – Auto-Release Racing Mini – Rudder Cleat

Protect your rudder blade with the Clamcleat® CL257 Auto-Release Cleat – the smartest and most reliable way to lock down a lifting rudder while still allowing it to safely flip up if it hits the bottom or an underwater obstacle.

Designed to grip securely under normal sailing loads, the CL257 instantly releases when overloaded, preventing costly damage to your rudder, stock, or fittings.

Once released, simply push the cleat back into its base to reset – it takes just seconds.
